Well, it's sneaking up on us again. Just thinking about the Hambud's Christmas get-together at Rudy's... I think December 18 is too late - only one week before Christmas. So let's poll and see which date you prefer - Saturday *December 4* or Saturday *December 11* ?

Hello fellow Hambuds. This past Field Day had an excellent turn out, and all who attended say they had a great time. We even found out that we could get a little extra from the overnight operators if we lock them in the park. Well, we are preparing for the winter and summer field days next year and would like to know if anyone has any thoughts/concerns. The pavilion is $200 to rent for each weekend, so $400 in total. Right now the treasury has $902.40, and we really need to reserve that for emergency repeater repairs (two Hambuds have donated towards FD already, so treasury total is $942.40). So we will need the Hambuds to step up and make some donations for the winter/summer field days. Please post comments about any thoughts, concerns, or questions you have about this. 73, Scott

Field Day is less than 2 months away. This survey is to determine if anyone is willing/available to participate in Field Day with the Hambuds. We have a reservation for Williamson County SW Regional Park. If we are not going to have enough participants, we may cancel this year and push our reservation to next year.? We need some commitment to make this work.

If the Wilco Parks Department opened our Field Day park completely, including the pavilion and restrooms before Field Day on Saturday June 27,... To what extent would YOU participate in helping set up antennas, bring equipment and in operating a station?
