Whittaker arrived in his Maule today and it¡¯s safely tucked away in Hangar 5 with Bill Kemper close alongside. Welcome home, Whittaker . . . Did the first taxi today, and calibrated the magnetometer. It works! You can see the canopy has a little tint to it. https://photos.app.goo.gl/edqisizgBu5L1PVLA Take care, Tim H.

Looking for soil stabilization products - George Heddy.
Matt, Would your brother be willing to give me some advice on my landslide abatement project at my house? I could use some valid advice on storm water drainage solutions. Please send me his contact info if he is willing to help. Thank you. - George Heddy.

Looking for soil stabilization products

Put your thinking cap on . . . We need to grade and stabilize the soil in the area in front (runway side) of the Museum hangar. The old fuel shed is going to be removed as soon as we can find help to do that. Volunteer? First, though we have to clean the construction debris out of the museum hangar. Mark and I will get started tomorrow after a day off. It won¡¯t take a lot of strenuous work - just a few hours time and we can begin accepting more airplanes . . . Tim Anderson has his 182 there now and Jacob¡¯s 182 will be moved into his space on Wednesday evening. Bill Walker is flying his Cirrus in tomorrow (Tuesday) evening for a couple of days and will likely be in one of the runway-side spaces this visit if the ground dries out enough and if we can move the pallets from the doors out of the way. Once the asphalt taxiway is installed we will have a little less stress about moving airplanes . . . -Alex

Welcome Mike Cosner!
2
Mike joins us after a long career with FEDEX - retiring after holding seniority number 1 for his last 7 years. He flies a Twin Comanche back and forth to and from Pensacola and will be in the Museum hangar in spot #4 (north end, facing the runway) if and when the grass dries out. A side note . . . Mike¡¯s name sounded familiar when Mark gave it to me . . I had a younger flight instructor in Orlando in the 1972ish time frame named Mike Cosner and Lo and Behold. . . . . Glad to have you with us, Mike. Now I have a good excuse for my landings after you taught me. -Alex

Special acrylic drill bits

Greetings, Steve and I are working on the RV4 canopy and have a need for some special drill bits to drill through the acrylic canopy. Does anyone have any ? Ideally we would like 3/32, but the more popular 1/8 size will work. Mark
