First, though we have to clean the construction debris out of the museum hangar. Mark and I will get started tomorrow after a day off. It won't take a lot of strenuous work - just a few hours time and we can begin accepting more airplanes . . . Tim Anderson has his 182 there now and Jacob's 182 will be moved into his space on Wednesday evening. Bill Walker is flying his Cirrus in tomorrow (Tuesday) evening for a couple of days and will likely be in one of the runway-side spaces this visit if the ground dries out enough and if we can move the pallets from the doors out of the way.?
?
Once the asphalt taxiway is installed we will have a little less stress about moving airplanes . . .?

Fantastic. Questions while watching: Who is funding this? What¡¯s the eventual cost with this one-off engine, avionics, tooling and R&D? Who are going to buy it? These guys have a gross amount of faith and wish them well.
Did they make their May 1 deadline?

Very fun. Great to see the Helio looks like it will make a return to service.? These guys are a pair of savvy dudes.

I¡¯ve been to Birchwood many times.? It¡¯s airplane Mecca.? Hundreds of airplanes tied down in rows.? It¡¯s easy to spend a few hours just walking the ramp(s).

We did a takeoff on the pavement, but landed on the pea gravel parallel runway.? It was my first exposure to the cost of Tundra Tires - and the means taken to protect ¡®em.? The joke is every landing on pavement costs $50.
