Re: Mark

Just heard from Leo yesterday that you were faking an illness to get out of day trip..... that is soooo sad & juvenile!? ?

Glad you are on the mend, you have not missed many good flying days here, rain, snow rain...rinse lather repeat.

I have been enjoying visiting with Dick R for machining of parts, very nice guy.? I will give you the latest critiques on your brutish-farm oriented engineering techniques upon your return.? (He did not react kindly when I told him I could make the hole bigger by wallowing a drill bit in the hole......we went straight to the mill and drilled a "proper" hole. )? ?I think I am now ready for welding on the tug.

Enjoy the trip, I still owe you the case of beer.

Yeah... Trip got off to a rather poor start. Thankfully, the medical system here is very good. I was in a teaching hospital only 3 blocks from our hotel. Of course we had to pay the bill before checking out...... $14900.00. There goes my beer money for the trip! We were able to extend our stay and rejoined our original schedule two days later. Just missed Queenstown. The weather has been very cool and rainy anyway. I'm feeling better every day and should be medication free in a couple days.

The worst part was getting my bladder working again, a common problem after anesthesia, a couple catheters ? and I was not in the mood for a third. The bladder woke up Thursday morning when the last catheter was unceremoniously yanked out.
