Re: Nice airport downunder
Good to know you're healing and out and about. We miss you around here .. weather hasn't been all that great but today was blue skies and dry so I took the Glastar out for a run over to Rutherford County .. only 3 other airplanes in the ADS-B 15 mile ring the whole time I was out, about an hour.
All's well on this end but there's an RV-8 sulking in the back of the hangar.
Be safe and well ..?

Re: LSA registrations collated
You¡¯re right, Brian, the future of general aviation is the home built/experimental category. It¡¯s more than just a reaction to an FAA stuck in their glacial bureaucracy. Somebody wrote back in the late 70s or early 80s that innovation lies with the enthusiasts that go to Oshkosh or live in the chapters of EAA around the world. The challenge is to round up those enthusiasts and get them to the airport!

Accurate data may be hard to determine, but clearly homebuilt aircraft are the future of general aviation.
Interesting data .. this is the first time I¡¯ve seen light aircraft sales/registrations logged this way.?
