Simultaneous fish bowls?
开云体育Hi!I’m thinking about a session tomorrow where I’d like to do two (or three) simultaneous fishbowls with a group of about 25 - I’m wondering if anyone has tried this? I’m thinking that I could prime another two facilitators beforehand, and then I guess have everyone come back and have the fish do their final reflections in the larger group? Has anyone tried this? If so any tips? (My alternative would be to do two, one after the other, and just have the participants break up, with the fish only in one of the groups, after describing the initial context/challenge). Hmm.. Re: Polling or features in google hangouts?
开云体育Many times in f2f settings I have called a break and frantically crunched numbers and created paretos. With mentimeter is it possible for someone to enter items as they are brainstormed? (shorter break?) ? Thanks – Bill ? Hi Ann,? ? Test out ? It allows quizzes, polls, sliding scale selection, a host of really easy to use and easy to set up elements.? I haven’t worked with google hangouts, but if you can share screen into that system, then you can show what people have responded in live session.? It works with anonymity which is great in some instances, but less so if you want to see who said what.? ? though perhaps less useful for brainstorming, as you may be wanting people to vote on aspects just brainstormed on.? Can you take a coffee break in the middle and add the items they brainstorm into a menti, and then they vote on that? ? hope this helps.? best maz

Polling or features in google hangouts?
开云体育Hi everyone, ? Hope you all are well. I am organizing a meeting tomorrow on community-led responses to COVID in low-income countries. Focus on brainstorming / creative visioning. ? It will be in google hangouts. Does anyone have recommendations for polling or other interactive options that will be easy to use for participants? Or activities? ? Thanks! Ann ? 开云体育Hi allAdobe Connect is a good, stable platform with breakout room capabilities.
I used it a lot before zoom came along.

Recording videos
开云体育Hi!A colleague just shared with me - ?I’m finding it to be a great little application for recording work on your screen, allowing you you to keep yourself in the corner narrating what’s going on, etc. Might be really useful for trainings, etc. to share beforehand to communicate basic info, and allow the online meeting to be focused on co-creating and discussion, etc. Catherine Catherine Borgman-Arboleda Learning & Evaluation Consultant Action Evaluation Collaborative Mobile MX: +52 1?(999) 268-9045 BLOG: |
