Re: Work Around for Q&A when using regular Zoom

Hi Laurie,

The simplest solution may be to?use the regular Zoom chat feature to host your Q&A.? This requires a tech host to gather questions and present them to the speaker so that the speaker doesn't have to sort through the whole chat.

If you do not want participants sharing public messages, you can restrict the Zoom chat so that participants?can only send a message to the hosts with this setting (screenshot attached):
Allow meeting participants to send a message visible to all participants

If that doesn't meet your needs, please mention why and we can all think of other solutions.?

Hello Everyone: I am helping to facilitate a session that will be on regular Zoom: not webinar. There is the need for a Q&A session but in regular Zoom this feature does not exist. Looks like about 160 people coming so putting into the chat is not a good thing. What have others done for a work around? I can link to something else like say Google Forms or Google Jam Board but any other ideas?

Thanks so much
