The simplest solution may be to?use the regular Zoom chat feature to host your Q&A.? This requires a tech host to gather questions and present them to the speaker so that the speaker doesn't have to sort through the whole chat.
If you do not want participants sharing public messages, you can restrict the Zoom chat so that participants?can only send a message to the hosts with this setting (screenshot attached):
Allow meeting participants to send a message visible to all participants
If that doesn't meet your needs, please mention why and we can all think of other solutions.?
