Re: Atlas #2303 variations

Edward Bridges

might have to start hanging out on eBay again.
That is where I got this odd car. Only paid about $2.50 for it
(MIB!!!) in a cluster of 5 cars ($12.00). I got the 1020 first,
then ended up with 1000 as a single car auction a few days later and
never noticed the difference until looking at George Irwin's site
the other night.

My 1000 has missing stirrups on one end of the car while 1020 is
mint condition.

I have bid on a LOT of old Atlas stuff on ebay...and won it lately.

Will post scans of both 1000 and 1020 as time permits and will send
george Irwin scans for the site.

Guess I found something worth looking for!
