"Sure," Gen replied eagerly.? "I've never really been shopping before.? I mean, I've been in stores, but I never had any actual money.? Most of the time, if there was anything I needed, I had to scrounge around for it.? It's amazing what some people will toss out.? I've got a bunch of stuff back at the lighthouse that I found going through trashcans and dumpsters."

"There'll probably be books and stuff that I'll need, yes?" he asked.? "Will the store have, like, a list I can go by, for the courses and stuff?? And I'm guessing I'll need a laptop too, maybe? And what about clothes?? I have what I've got on, and stuff I've scrounged, but I don't know what's good or appropriate." He glanced at Akira uncertainly.? "Can you help me with that?"

(Akira) Akira slipped his arm around Gen's shoulders, "slow down there, friend. Let's just start with your basic needs. Clothes, stuff for showering and what not. Then we can figure out the classes and stuff. Most of the regular classes have the books already in them. We don't get them from the store. Yes, I will gladly help you with clothing." He said with a smile as they entered the store that wasn't that far from the cafeteria.
