"Sir, you do not have to leave and if you are a mutant, you are welcome their no matter what time of day or night it is...or if you are simply lost and need someplace safe to sleep for a night. The owners are not picky. Since you were able to stick to the wall, then you have some sort of abilities. Do you need help? Are you lost? You are welcome there, no matter what your circumstance is." Liza explained hoping that he wouldn't simply leave without at least giving the place a chance.

"I'm not exactly lost," Gen began.? "I mean, I'd heard about this place, so I kind of know where I am.? And I do have some abilities.? Quite a few, actually," he added with a self-conscious snicker as he willed the skin of his hands and feet back to normal.? "But I'm not exactly a mutant either.? So I'm not sure if I really belong here.? Or anywhere, really."? He shrugged.? "It's kind of a long story."

"I could use something to eat though," he went on, looking hopeful.? "I have money.? I can pay," the androgyne added, pulling a wad of bills out of his pocket. A wad of what looked like hundred-dollar bills.? "I've tried getting food in a few places but they always look at me funny and then call the police." He chewed on his lip anxiously.? "You aren't going to do that, are you?"
