The following health Alert was received from the Safetyalerts.com on June 21, 2001.

Asher Chocolates, Souderton, PA has recalled certain Candy Express Assorted Sugar Free Chocolates in 7.5 oz and 15 oz
boxes. because the products were labeled as sugar free chocolates but actually contains regular sweetened chocolates. This is the
first public notice of this Class III recall issued by the FDA. The lot number for the 7.5 oz. box is 23-22-0 and the sku number for
7.5 oz. box is 80135. The lot number for the 15 oz. Thie product was recalled by the Manufacturer, by telephone on 12/19/00
and by letter on 1/12/01. Firm initiated recall is *complete. *Completed recall: FDA states 'completed recall' indicates the
company has removed all affected product from store shelves, it does not necessarily mean this particular product lot, or codes,
have been fully accounted for. The distribution of these products was in MA, NC, NY, OH, PA, and VA.

The following health Alert was received from the Safetyalerts.com on June 21, 2001.

Snapple Beverage Group, White Plains, NY has recalled certain Snapple Diet Cranberry Raspberry beverage 16 ounce
glass bottles, because the product may be contaminated with mold. This is the first public notice of this Class III recall issued by
FDA. The Case code is FEB-19-01 RC and the Bottle code is CT735 19B1. This product is manufactured by Beverage Capital
Corporation, Baltimore, MD. Snapple Beverage Group, White Plains, NY, recalled this product by telephone beginning on
3/15/01. Firm initiated recall is *complete. *Completed recall: FDA states 'completed recall' indicates the company has removed
all affected product from store shelves, it does not necessarily mean this particular product lot, or codes, have been fully
accounted for. DISTRIBUTION: NY, PA, MD, NH, NJ, DE, CT, MN and MI.

The following health Alert was received from the Food Allergy Network on June 21, 2001.

Friendly Ice Cream Corporation, Wilbraham, MA, is voluntarily recalling its half-gallon packages labeled Mint Chocolate
Chip ice cream because the product may contain pistachio nuts. The product was distributed in Friendly's restaurants,
supermarkets, and convenience stores in the following states: CT, FL, IN, MEe, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA,RI,
SC, TN, VT, VA, Washington DC, and WV.
The half-gallons have an expiration date of April 27, 2002, written as 27Apr02, Apr2702, or 25-26 WC5 020427.
Consumers may return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may call (800) 723-1591.
