¿ªÔÆÌåÓý?All, thanks for the input. ?I understand there¡¯s some thought that we are putting the cart before the horse with applying for funds.? I have a couple additional comments: -ARRL put out the email, it was not solicited. It appears they have funds they need to disburse, likely to be able to get additional funding next year. ?They need to utilize what they already have. ?This seems like an excellent opportunity to add to the clubs coffers and move forward the topics that have been discussed in meetings.? - The thought was to plan for the future a bit. Things generally need to be done simultaneously, it doesn¡¯t work well to decide on a project and then search for funding. Projects most often then get stalled or never get off the ground. ?Also, there may not be funds available, the request may be between the disbursement cycles etc.? - it would be helpful to know who is interested in working with the scouts if supplies are obtained. ?I was envisioning also reaching out upper level scouts- Eagles etc who also be helpful to the Club and perhaps even engage with the younger scouts.? - It appears there is interest in the welfare messaging system but not a lot of volunteers so far. I think it would be helpful for folks to know what is needed in order to volunteer both in expertise and equipment. Or if there are newbies (me!?). Would/could there be group training sessions to help us get off the ground.? Thanks all - look forward to continued dialogue and the meeting next week.? Enjoy the day!
