Of course I agree, same few people step up and bail us out. Keep in mind, I make up any expenses by myself each month. I had quoted
you our FIXED monthly operating costs at $200. This figure does not include parts, maintenance, new equipment, etc. Realistically, that is running about $100 a month. Then too, I bought the KRC-2, parts for the coax relay. (~150) I reduced monthly expenses by switching to a new ISP, but, install fees, first month service added up to almost $200. I bought antenna parts. ($200) There is around %550 extra in just one month. True, an extraordinary month for expenses. Turns out, I discovered this only yesterday, the UPS needs a new battery again. (I thought I bought one a few months ago)

That's the problem with trying to run something based on
"tin-cupping" - after a while it usually fizzles - the "audience"
just gets tired of it.
Many, myself included, have suggested presenting an actual realistic
annual budget that includes not only M&O but reserves and
contingencies as well - publishing it - tracking it and sticking to
it.
As much as a PITA it is, maybe it's time to do it!
