Was that a folding cane and if so when did the driver first see the cane? I'm asking since the driver's excuse likely will be anyone can get a white cane and I only saw it after we got out at the airport. You may have used the cane to get to the driver's vehicle but the driver talking on the cell phone wouldn't have noticed it then. A straight cane is a little more obvious especially if any trouble fitting it and you in the vehicle. Another question pick up instructions, did you put look for someone using a white cane in those instructions? I found out uber will not take any of my credit cards but lyft will takee them so tried and failed to unsubscribe from uber since on safari their unsubscribe form is unuseable. I'll try it with another browser and see if that can work. I haven't used lyft yet but they're on my phone.

He saw it when I walked out to the car, and saw it when I got to the airport. When I mentioned Delta, he seemed to not want to be bothered with me.

I am replying again since I missed out on what you asked near the end of the E-mail. The driver helped me get my suitcase in the trunk and when I first got in the car I thought he was listening to the radio with a talk show, but he was talking to a lady and her kids.

That needs a call to a customer service number. What if any action gets taken I don't know. If you do phone customer service, let them know this e-mail group exists and why it exists.

If somebody from Uber applies, I would definitely welcome them to the team. And our lift. I would not mind having somebody from their accessibility team on the group or a general service customer service representative. I appreciate you making this suggestion.
Just keep in mind, they may not get approved though until after the Christmas holidays as I have family in town and will be working different hours during the holiday.

Has anyone from either company tried to join the list?? I would also expand this invitation to? drivers as well so that they can learn about the issues many of us have faced.? When I¡¯ve heard complaints about Uber or Lyft, it is usually because they¡¯ve denied a ride for someone with a service animal. ?

No, as far as I know, no drivers have joined the list. If you get a driver that wishes to join the list that would be great. Because I believe that they should know the accessibility issues that you guys face as well. I will approve any request to come in.
Let them know, that we are in English speaking List we're not doing German or Spanish or any of that over here.
