Re: Has anyone connected AsiAir Plus 256gb to AN/SC?
is it possible, then, to have Sky SAfari run the AN/SC through SkyFi, AND, have AsiAir Plus, 'along for the ride', run the asi533mc pro camera through its own wifi to get the pix? Steve

Steve, stayed tuned. We'll see where our efforts get us. Bill is right - at the moment nothing it is not supported by ASIAir. Note however you can control it directly from Sky Safari ("it" being the

Has anyone connected AsiAir Plus 256gb to AN/SC?
I have an obsession 15"UC with AN/SC and can't get it to connect properly. I have AsiAir connected directly to USB-B port on SC. Iphone to WIFI to AsiAir Plus. Asi533mc Pro connected directly to

Re: ServoCAT Cover
Hi Mike, Great job ! Have you ever tried these covers in hot weather ? Just wondering if the motor could heat up? with this cover. But I really don't know if this type of motor really heat or not...

ServoCAT Cover
Have been meaning to post this in the group for a while now. Designed this cover in TinkerCAD. I wanted to provide some protection for the ALT motor, but also decided to put one on the AZ motor.?

I feel the SC is pretty well protected - as mentioned, it sits in the bottom of the rocker box with only the front end exposed. I have just the rocker box in the workshop right now.? My plan is to

Re: Dead CAT
Note additionally. I don't like it when people suggest things like "'de-oxy' the pins on all cables". It's not too unusual for issues to show when people do this. Unplug all cables to the ServoCAT

Re: Dead CAT
Mike, First it is highly unlikely you've damaged it - at least not to the "brick" state. IF there is anything going on it can be repaired. First - when you say the power led - are you talking about an

Dead CAT
I think I killed my ServoCAT. ?I believe it's a Gen 3, purchased 02/2011. The power in is 13.2v, the fuse on the PCB is good, and the voltage reads 13.2v on both sides of the fuse. ?The power LED

Re: LiFePO4 batteries
You won't see 14+V out of your LFP battery. 14.4 is a reasonable (though on the high side depending on who you ask) charging voltage. As soon as you take the battery off of the charger, you'll quickly

Re: LiFePO4 batteries
No problem. You can power the ServoCAT off of 11 - 16V. NOTE however other accessories, that might be connected to the PGB Power distribution rail, might not be able to handle this voltage! Also note

Re: LiFePO4 batteries
Eric, I run 15v into my powered ground board and have a 12v regulator in my virtual mirror box to power all my gear. The regulator accepts 8 to 24 volts in and provides up to 10 amps at 12 volts out.
