Endure & Survive is a The Last of Us PBEM role playing game, set 5 years before the events of the video games. Some liberties have been taken to blend elements of the show into our setting as well. We're an 18+ game focusing on a group of survivors just trying to make it through the apocalypse, and we're looking for experienced writers to help us tell their stories. This is a writing based, play-by-post roleplaying game done via Groups.io, using Discord for OOC communication. We use third person past tense when writing posts.
If you've never written in a play-by-post game before, it's essentially turn-based collaborative storytelling, with a strong focus in our case on the collaboration. We are primarily looking for players who are eager to work together and dig into interpersonal plots as well as the overarching ones.?

Your character must be a resident of Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. They may be brand new or as old as the settlement, but they have to be a part of it. We do not currently have openings for FEDRA or other factions at this time.?

recommitting its efforts to exploration by launching several new
vessels.
One of those vessels is the USS NIGHTRUNNER, a Constitution
III-class cruiser tasked with taking exploration to the very edge of the
limit.
Launched in 2402 under the command of Captain Michael Meezo, the crew
embark on their biggest adventure! New friends and foes await them as
they traverse unexplored space, but undoubtedly some old friends and

The SS Mary Rose is a 150-year-old vessel, meaning she is low on luxuries and high on maintenance. She cruises at warp 5 and the last exploring she did was back when Kirk was still fighting Klingons. In short, she is very much a working-class vessel, which means our focus is quality writing built on great characters and interesting situations. We focus on interesting concepts in which our characters are forced to think and not fight, their way to survival whether it is mirror universe escapades, late cargo delivery or working with the Fenris rangers to make the universe just that little less bad.?

Players will be encouraged to be proactive about the sims direction and the situations the crew encounters. We aim for an evolving story-arc that includes plenty of foreshadowing and provides all involved with invigorating challenges, fresh ideas, and a fun environment to write in.

Please note that the game itself is run in a somewhat different fashion than most the usual run of the mill Star Trek sims. For instance, here, rank and position don't really have a set path, so while characters may have a star fleet or military background, we do not have career tracks. Everyone on-board will be a civilian and there are no real means for promotion apart from to department head but everyone big or small plays their part in the ship and stories we tell especially as we move towards becoming Fenris Rangers.

USS Challenger (Season 5: Episode 10 - The Galloway Gambit) has just finished hosting a Scientific convention between the best minds of the Federation and the new Romulan Free State.?? Of course, no interact with Romulans ever goes as planned and there was murder and mystery abounding as the crew had to find out who killed the lead Romulan scientist and how the Romulans made it seem that the Challenger fired on and destroyed the Romulan transport ship.? of each other unless discussed between multiple writers, meaning it
does not affect other threads around you. Multi-threads are allowed but
remember not to take on more than you can handle. Short threads are just
as fun as long ones! We like for writers to reply to each thread at

The Resistance: a PBEM RPG of deduction. Who is loyal? Who is a spy?
The near future. You live in a corporate police state,
ruled with an iron fist by a tiny elite and a dictator. The majority live in
fear, struggling to get by. Most agree that the regime needs to fall.
You are a member of the Resistance, one of a small group
determined to bring down the regime leaders and restore democracy. Your
position, skills and knowledge make you uniquely placed to bring down the tyrant
and his supporters.
Your plans are made. You are ready to begin your missions.
But there¡¯s a problem. You have learned, on good authority, that spies working
for the regime have infiltrated your group. They will do their best to sabotage
your missions and ensure you fail.
Who can you trust? Who should you take on missions? Can
you sniff out the spies? Can you bring down the regime, before they take you
down from the inside?
The Resistance is a PBEM RPG which uses the theme and rules
of the tabletop game ¡®The Resistance¡¯ to build a story around. The rules of the

You need to come up with a

The setting is near-future
science fiction.

Important: you should write what your
character does and says, not what they think. Internal monologues can
give away whether your character is loyal or not.

Games are finite, with a definite start and end
point. Once the missions are over and all decisions have been made, the winners
will be identified ¨C either the Resistance wins, or the Spies win.
¡¤????????
Game roles are assigned randomly. You will be
either a member of the Rebellion, or a Spy. To play, you must be willing to
play either role.
¡¤????????
There are two special roles in the game. One
member of the Resistance is The Commander. The Commander has secretly discovered
who the spies are. Anyone can claim to be The Commander, but only one person really
is. But¡
¡¤? ? ? ? ?The Spies have a chance to win at the end, even if the Resistance succeed with their
missions due to the Spies special role -?The Assassin. If the Resistance succeed in enough
missions, they still lose if the Assassin correctly identifies The Commander at
the end of the game.
