If anybody is interested in this, please message me. Bike is in Ventura CA. Previous owner did several modifications and the bike sat for a while and needed to be put back together. It's a rider, not a garage queen. I put it together, sorted out ignition problems, tuned it, replaced fluids, runs good. Title is on it's way from DMV in the next week or so. It's dual plugged. Electronic crank fired ignition. New coils, plugs, cables. new diode board. Lightweight starter. lightened flywheel. R100RS seat painted silver smoke. I have a "s" cowl I can throw into the sale if wanted but a different color. I have the rare RS rear 'handles' to include. I have them as the trim, or the solid handles. New owner can decide which way to go. Progressive rear shocks Deep oil pan (one or two fins broke in the front). New oil, new oil filter. valves adjusted. Newer DelOrto carbs with plastic tops. Has a green face clock, non-s handlebar clamps. I'm not looking for people to critique the bike like they do on social media. Just looking for interested buyers and to start a conversation. -Josh

I am in the process of replacing my clutch cable and wanted to know the correct OEM part number. Can anyone inform me as to the correct part number for a 1974 R90S? Any specific advice on installing a new cable unit? Much appreciated. G

Side Panel Stickers

I am having my 75 SS repainted and need to decide how to replace the 900cc stickers on the side panels. As I see it, I have 3 options. Have new stickers made, have it painted to recreate the stickers, or find an exiting source of stickers. Suggestion are invited! Thanks, Denny

DO fairing sought +/- ribbed seat
Can¡¯t bring myself to repaint my OEM fairing since the bike still has all original paint. But it¡¯s got a nasty eyebrow hickey and the fairing mount bosses were reinforced with epoxy (presumed tip over by a PO). Since its stable, serviceable and still looks good I¡¯m happily riding it as-is but thought I¡¯d see if I can find one in better cosmetic and mount boss condition for when I eventually want a better fairing and seat to make my 10¡¯ bike a 3¡¯ bike. Messaged briefly with a guy on this forum (I think) a year or so ago who had an extra one so I thought I¡¯d put a feeler back out. Would also be interested in a ¡¯75-¡¯76 style ribbed seat preferably with seat pan (not cowl) in very good condition. Please private message me if you have something.

Due to an unfortunate slip putting the bike in my trailer, I cracked the fiberglass cockpit fairing on my 75 SS. I would like to know if anyone has one, knows anyone who has one, or a good source for these. I am also close to needing a new paint job, so would like recommendations on where to go for this. Reducing the R90S's weight

As I get older and a little less strong, I'm at the point of deciding whether I should sell my '76 R90S or shed some weight off it so I can ride it for a few more years before taking it back to stock (as far as possible) and selling it. Any ideas on easy weight reduction solutions that I could try? Switching to a lithium battery, lighter wheels? Thanks, Sri Nair Manitoba, Canada

75 90S original paint clear coat repair

Hi All, looking for paint advice: My original paint silver smoke tank has some clear coat accidentally removed from the top of the tank. the color coat is still in great shape, so I'd like to repair without a full repaint. I have no problem painting, however not sure if modern Urethane paint would be compatible with the 48 yr old factory clear? Understood the tone may suffer as the original paint had some yellowing over the years and modern clear would not have this 'feature'. Has anyone here attempted a similar repair? thx-Pat

I have been considering swapping my front brake 16mm master cylinder for a 14mm from an R90/6 single disk system to increase the brake feel. I saw this device to change a cable clutch lever mechanical ratio and was thinking that this might produce the same results at a much lowered cost and effort (converting the single master cylinder to twin disks). The one pictured is from Moose Racing and is about $35. It looks like it might be fairly easy to adapt to the under tank master cylinder. Has anyone tried anything like this or have any thoughts on it?

An Originality Question About the Fairing Mount Hardware
Hi Can someone with an original bike (1975 would be ideal) help me with the markings and finish on the bolt heads for the fairing mounts? The ones I have are : "FHS" and chrome on the top triple "DORN" and white cad on the shackles and extension bars The one attaching the small "L" shaped bracket at the fairing are missing so I don't know what they should be.
