Re: Dellorto vacuum ports.
Richard,
Several years ago, a friend has a 1974 R90S with carburetors that didn't have the ports. The Bing Agency installed ports for him. Dan |

Re: Dellorto vacuum ports.
You can purchase the needed parts to add these ports from Hermy’s BMW in Port Clinton, OA, last I heard. They are the US importer of D’ell parts.? They added ports to my D’ells.? Mac Kirkpatrick On Fri, Sep 1, 2023 at 16:51 Lars Hens via <lhens=[email protected]> wrote:

Todd’s Place
Is there a good motorcycle route from, say, the Harrisburg PA area to Todd’s place? Is 422 any good?

?Richard, I hope we are talking about the same thing…my carbs all had ports when I got the bikes. I don’t know about the depth to which the port is installed, but here are a few shots of the left carb from my S. Unlike the Bings, which have the ports conveniently on the outward-facing side, on the Dellortos, the ports are on the slightly less convenient engine-facing side. The hole goes straight in - no angle. Port: 6mm in diameter and 7.8mm long. Screw: I don’t have the means to check the thread immediately, but it is ~3.8mm in diameter and has a 7mm hex head. Hole depth: I stuck a small screwdriver in the hole and it bottoms out ~39mm in, so subtracting the 7.8mm port length, that’s about 31mm to where that internal cavity ends (it’s close to the center plane of the carb). Dellorto vacuum ports.
Does anyone have instructions how to drill the carbs for vacuum ports. I can get the pieces but would be nice to know how deep, what size. I read one report the inner hole needs to be at an angle. Need to verify this. Looking forwards to great posts on new website.

Re: Question For R90sWorldnet Members
I agree that functionality should dictate which way would be best to go. For me, the value of past communications is related?to the content regarding specific topics. I would like the easiest way to enter a topic and see any past communications where members have shared their knowledge and experience on that topic. If merging all past messages into one 'site' would facilitate that function, I would be in favor of this. Thanks for letting us all provide input here. 开云体育I think for ease of searching, it is advisable to combine them. ?At least for me, it’s not important where the information if filed, but rather that it is easy to find. ?Combining it, I presume, would mean a single search versus two separate searches.Lars On Aug 31, 2023, at 8:46 PM, Mac Kirkpatrick <drbeemer73@...> wrote:

Re: Question For R90sWorldnet Members
I think search functionality is the key. As long as a single search will query archived and new entries it doesn’t matter to me. If one would have search two separate folders I’d prefer archived be combined with new.
