Sorry guys, was up north with the brother fishing (Vilas Cty). So
I think that 24GB would be enough RAM unless you want to run a
couple virtual machines at the same time and I don't believe
windows can multitask that well. I am personally a bit nervous
with SSD over 1TB. i don't see a lot of negatives other than no
wired network. I just set up an IdeaPad 3 for a client - Intel 5
(4-core) w/24GB RAM, touchscreen and opted for win10pro. This was
a VERY SNAPPY system, and I am actually partial to AMD
processors.?
I think this would be a fine system and 100GB should let you
store a couple hundred albums, 500 e-books, 50 audio-books or so
and maybe a dozen movies. Another 100GB is another 50 movies or
so. Other than the movies, I have that on my phone. The only other
thing I would do, OF COURSE, is blow of the windows and install
Linux Mint (or Ubuntu if you don't mind SNAP).
Just make sure you put the Murder Bot
Diaries on the new system (I've got a bunch of other audio-books
if you're interested, including a bunch of Tony Hillerman).

HI Stein,
Overhead lines where completely removed. They under-grounded the
power all the way up the driveway to the pedestal and then onward
to my farm shop. Our house was only out of power for 1/2 hour ...
the farm shop and my printing building was without power for 7
hours.? I went out and mowed my lawn during that time. It seemed
like the right thing to do.

Description: Join us for our monthly get together. We can talk about anything development related. We started as a FoxPro group but now we talk about even more: Web Development, Mobile Development, Music, SQL Server and other databases, etc.
We are meeting in person again, but will try to livestream the meeting as well thanks to Aceware!? RSVP if you'd like to join us online.
