Hi:

Well, its nice to know a PCMCIA does work at any rate, I hadnt
gotten
confirmation of that..

Does it not go jittery if config is not used?

Thanks,

Subject: [mach1mach2cnc] computer reboot

My servo's keep getting jittery for no specific reason and the
only
fix is to reboot my laptop. It seems to randomly happen when I
change
some of my configurations. e.g. I change the acceleration and it
works
fine but, I need to change the rate again. I change the
acceleration
rate a second time and the servo will start running really
jittery. It
happens at irregular intervals when I'm making configuration
changes.
I'm not sure if it's a software problem or a hardware problem. My
laptop does not have a printer port so I am using a Pcmcia card
adapter and I'm running XP w/sp2.

It works great if I do not change anything and I do not use and
other programs. As long as all I do is run a part program or click
buttons on the Mach2 screen. Changing anything in the upper menu
definatley requires a reboot.
