Dearest Jude & Peter,?You seem to be having a really tough time. They put some sort of radio-dye into me when I had a 2nd MRI. My natural curiosity as a scientist was tempered by my ¡°lets get the hell through¡± this attitude. They told me it might feel like I wanted to urinate, when that wasn¡¯t necessary, but it wasn¡¯t so bad. Anyway they seem to have got the images they wanted. What a performance! About six people had a go at getting a needle into me for gandolinium contrast. I debated about having the contrast because of my allergy problems and asked them did they know what to do if it had an adverse effect on me.?
?It was such a long winded event my husband started to get very worried and was about to go to the desk and ask what had happened to me. But its done as as I don't trust the eye Dr and he's very hard to get hold of I have asked for it to be sent to my GP and booked to see him on Friday. Was a very expensive fishing expedition at nearly $700 over the counter --- but looks like I got some rebate sorted via Aussie Medicare.
They haven't given me any case no things so I can view on line or see report in 7 days - I'm going to check on that.
But my neuro visit in the morning was a delight - really nice man - calm sane sensible practical talks common sense.?
