November Club Meeting
Our November meeting is tomorrow night, Tuesday November 2nd at 7pm. Weather looks good to have it outside in the LZ but will be 46 degrees. That is not too cold for me so my vote is the LZ but how does everyone else feel about that? If the consensus is too cold then we can meet at George’s or someone can host.
Thoughts? Votes? Greg |

Re: About Sales Tax
PETER BROCKETT JR
I don't recall an exclusion mentioned in the forms I fill out when I remit the RST to the state.? But, I will check into it some more.

Re: About Sales Tax
I don't think anybody in CT sells hang gliding equipment at this point anyway. (Well, other than winch tow releases.)

Re: About Sales Tax
I looked it up and found that only aircraft weighing 6000 pounds or more are exempt.

The Chinese have finally got into the glider market! Could be towed up with our winch easily. This is all I know about it so far. Deane -----Original Message-----

Tanner closing
Matthew Carr
Rhett is closing up his towing operation a little early this year.? Right now, his last day at Tanner is planned to be either this Thursday (10/21) or this Saturday (10/23), depending on the forecast.
?
I will post when a final day has been selected.
?
If you have any equipment at Tanner stored in the Dragonfly hanger that you want to take home for the winter, this would be the last chance.? Gliders stored in the new hanger can actually be picked up any time.
?
Kind regards, Matthew Carr |
