Walt,

Thanks for the reply.

Will this simulate the key line being plugged into the 2-NT?
If I use this key line to supply the 12 vdc for the T/R relay will that work?
I am currently using an external supply for the T/R relay.

Can I assume that the key line needs some kind of load to produce the proper output?

Thank again,

Subject: [HallicraftersRadios] Another vintage station trying
?
Hello guys,

Still looking for some help to get a vintage station operating.

This station does just fine with a xtal but I would like to get the HA-5
operational.
Output with the xtal seems fine around 45 - 50 watts.
When the HA-5 is used I get almost no output, WHY ???

Switching between the XTAL / VFO position doesn't help.

The HA-5 works great when used with my Drake 2-NT.

Any ideas why this is happening?

I would like to use this on AM.

Thanks much,

Dave KC3AM
