Another vintage station trying
Hello guys,
Still looking for some help to get a vintage station operating. This station does just fine with a xtal but I would like to get the HA-5 operational. Output with the xtal seems fine around 45 - 50 watts. When the HA-5 is used I get almost no output, WHY ??? Switching between the XTAL / VFO position doesn't help. The HA-5 works great when used with my Drake 2-NT. Any ideas why this is happening? I would like to use this on AM. Thanks much, Dave KC3AM |

Try terminating the HA-5 With a 5.6k and measure the voltage across?the resistor. It needs?to be greater than 20vpp.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWalt,
Thanks for the reply. Will this simulate the key line being plugged into
the 2-NT? Can I assume that the key line needs some kind of load to produce the proper output?
Thank again, Dave KC3AM On 10/9/2022 11:37 PM, waltcates wrote:
