Thanks for the suggestions which are appreciated.
From Frances:
My email (Apple Mail) does that for me - made rules in iCloud.
What email client are you using?
I am using Apple Mail on this computer, a Mac mini, and I use Thunderbird on my PC.
You could rejoin some groups with different email address, if you wish. Then cancel the subscriptions that are duplicates.
That is the only option that I can see so far but it is one that I wanted to avoid.
Most of the groups that I am in, owning some and a member of others, are for Amateur Radio so I use my callsign in my domain name for my email address. The other groups are for other purposes and I prefer to use another domain name for those which does not use my callsign.
I know how to merge the groups into one account or to change to another email address for all of them but I don¡¯t know how to split some groups away to another account.
From Jonathan Sivier:
Why not just use a filter on your email program to direct the messages from different groups into different folders. ¡
Yes, I have done that in both Mac Mail and Thunderbird. It solves half of the problem but not the one where I want to use different email address domains for different purposes.
As I said, I would like to be able to split some groups from one account and move them to another account without moving all of them.
The problem is probably that I was used to being able to do that easily in the Yahoo Groups so I was hoping to be able to do the same here.
Once again, thanks for all the suggestions.
