Can't approve a message

One of my groups members, who is approved for posting messages, has edited one of his posts.? Groups says I need to approve and unmoderate the post.? When I try to do this i get the circle with a slash symbol, universal 'you can't do that' and the post remains needing approval before being sent.
I tried just approving it, without also unmoderating.? Tried doing and edit myself then approving.? Nothing works
Just? a few innocuous phrases, about 3 sentences and a picture, which was there in the original post.
Any Ideas on how to get this approved?
Thanks,
Gregg

Are you logged into the web UI with the correct email address? (i.e. an owner/moderator one, not a member one?

Hi Chris,

???? I only have one email associated with Group.io so it has to be my owner login.

If your group has attachments disabled that may be why it's held up. If so, let us know, as that seems like a bug...a non-compliant message should never make it to moderation.
?
Have you tried deleting it, instead of approving it?

Bruce

Not on the group I co - own they aren't; they turn up and we have to patiently explain that attachments are not enabled.

I found two setting that may be the culprit.

Attachments were set to Moderate.? Changed to allow.

¡®Allow photos in messages¡¯ check box was to not checked.? It is now.? We¡¯ll see what happens.

Tried to approve and it still doesn¡¯t approve.?? Might be a bug.

?

Some kind of error message would be helpful in this type of situation.? As it is there¡¯s no clue where to look.

Thanks for? the tip.?

Gregg,

do this i get the circle with a slash symbol, universal 'you can't do
that' and the post remains needing approval before being sent.
If you're looking at the message in the Pending list, it needs a check mark in the box before the buttons are enabled. That's bitten me more than a few times.

If you've opened the pending message then I've no idea how that could happen.

I have just thought of another one, although it is something of a long shot.

It might just be that the picture in the email in question is sufficient to take your group over its storage limit. I suggest that you check the amount of storage that your group has already used up to see if it is full or extremely close to full.

If that is the case then I suggest you check the following setting: Admin > Settings > Message Policies > (scroll down) Storage limit reached. What is it set to? Make sure it is set to Delete Old Attachments. Don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Update group.

As stated above this may be a long shot but it's worth trying for all the time it will take.
