How to schedule when a Member Notice goes out?
Hi folks, I've searched the "help" until I can't see straight. But I can't find the answer to my questions: How do you activate a monthly member notice?? That is, after you set it up, how do you send it out? What does "monthly" mean -- that it will automatically go out a month from when you set it up? ? Thanks, |

It goes out on the 1st day of the month in the time zone that you have set for your group. It begins on the 1st day of the month following the date that ayou set it up. It can also be automatically emailed to a person when he joins, by ticking the corresponding checkbox. If you want a memo of some kind to go out as an email at some other scheduled interval (i.e.: not the first of the month), you have to set that up as a recurring calendar event, not a member notice. When set up correctly, the memo will appear in the group as a #cal-notice. Bruce |
