Messages by Owner

Jan Smith

Hi.? I successfully got my group up and running.? I would like to know how you keep the messages by owner/moderator at the top of your Topic List.? ?I would like to do that for messages that I want group members to be able to read whenever they want.? New members and older members.

Another thing, I have my members click on a link to subscribe to my new group.? Is there a limit as to how many I can approve at a time.? I saw a 20 day limit in one of the help subjects, but I am not sure if that is for groups that were transferred over or groups, like mine, where I create the group and they just subscribe themselves.

Thanks.

Jan

If you want to keep particular messages at the top:
- go to the main messages page for your group
- click the downward triangle / arrow at the bottom of the message (next to your name and the date)
- choose "Make sticky"

This will "pin" those messages at the top.

HTH,
Su

You can make each of them a Sticky using the More menu under them.

There's no limit on any of them.? For those that apply via web or email, just approve them.? Even when inviting or direct adding more than 20 per day, do them all at once and they'll be approved shortly.

Thank you Su.? I am new to this and just couldn't find what you are describing, but I did go in and Edit the 2 message I want at the top, and then I could choose "sticky."??
