Why do Mute not work.

I am a subscriber on another list where meetings etc. are regularly noted in the calendar.
I'm NOT a manager of that list. I don't want those messages; I live too far away from the "HQ" I have muted #cal-notice and #cal-reminder on that list, but the messages keep coming. Why, and what can I do about it as a subscriber? As per now, they are considered junk in my mail client... Thomas |

You might ask them why they've set them this way, if that's what has happened. Be careful marking things as junk.? On some email services that equates to marking them as spam and could get you unsubscribed.? I don't believe it applies within some clients, such as Thunderbird, but is not a good habit to get into.
