Re: Can a Topic be Muted?
Also in either case, if you have deleted any message from the Topic before locking or moderating it, or do so in the future, or if you have renamed it, the moderation and locking fails when anyone

Re: Can a Topic be Muted?
Duane, where do I mute a topic?? I know that I can "follow" from my email - it brings me to a confirmation page on the group website. I did see a Muted in the menu on the left when I started to look

Re: Can a Topic be Muted?
Mute is only for you, not the group. You can Mute (or Follow) a topic from your overview (/topics), once you're looking at the topic, at the top of the page. Locking is best if you

Re: member got unsubbed
groups2manage My understanding is that it is not so much a glitch, but a very bad design decision. AOL (like most services) does automatic spam filtering to put some messages into a user's Spam folder

Re: How do I have completely my own footer?
John, A system footer is sent out in every message delivered by email. Also a group-specific footer if one has been set in the group's settings. Neither are shown when you look at messages from the

Re: Hotmail spam problem - same as aol...?
Hi Shal, thanks much. I agree that any mail service removing a user from a list without their direct action is nasty, and it's tough to get a handle on. It's more than frustrating for the use. Thanks

Re: Hotmail spam problem - same as aol...?
Hi Ginny, We've had a Hotmail user removed from GMF back in September, and by coincidence just today a Yahoo Mail user. So it isn't AOL alone. In theory the "work-around" is "don't do that" - that is,
