[email protected] doesn't go through
but [email protected] does go through for the invite in order to transfer the group.
We only have 3 days to be able to transfer so are feeling a bit desperate. We have to upgrade to premium which I did but on a monthly basis. The transfer fee is a one time shot of 220. Will my 20 already paid count when I pay now the 200?? Teresa from [email protected] |

I paid. What is the error message? When you check your transfer status, what does it say? (You could send a screenshot. Or give us the exact wording. Go to the Yahoo transfer page at /yahootransfer
Select the transfer you want to check status on from "Existing Transfers" at lower right (i.e.: click on the name)
This is not a displayed option.
The box at the top of the resulting page will tell you the status of that transfer.
Don't get there!

Update: If you get an error message when trying to invite [email protected] to your YahooGroup, keep inviting and clicking the Update button on the Easy Yahoo Groups Transfer page.? The error message I got was "Sorry, an error occurred while loading the content."? This may or may not be the error message you get when you try to invite [email protected]. But, keep clicking the Update button on the Easy Yahoo Groups Transfer page until you see this message at the top:?We've received the invite to your group and will accept it soon. Maybe. This issue affects users of specific email services that choose to interpret spam markings as a request to unsubscribe. Some do so even when it was their spam filter that redirected the message to your Spam folder. Check the list of Service Providers below, if your email service provider is not on that list then most likely you will not be affected.
For more, see?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Removed-for-spamWhat is the position of Groups.io management on why this is being done? There are statements about why this is being handled this way in [] and [].

I dont understand??
Hello,
You have been automatically removed from [email protected] because your Email Service Provider reported to us that one or more messages sent to you from [email protected] has been marked as spam. We suggest that you check your spam box as soon as possible to see if your Email Service Provider has diverted other legitimate messages into it. You will receive no more emails from that group. If this was a mistake, you can resume your subscription within the next 7 days by clicking the following link: Groups.io groups offer several options for controlling how much and what types of emails to receive. See this for more information. If this happens repeatedly please check with your Email Service Provider to learn about how they decide to send feedback reports to list services (such as Groups.io groups). Cheers, ?

Frances,
It appears I'm stuck.? I verified that the $220 transaction occurred, but? the transfer procedure acts as though it hasn't been paid-it doesn't show status of the process when? I try to kick it off again.? It could be, I suppose, why? they? don't accept the

Re: Detailed Instructions on How to Conduct a Yahoo Transfer
Thank to all who sent tips. I have had some movement in my transfer now. Here's what i did and what ha happened so far.
-- I re-invited?[email protected]?to both my groups and then clicked the update transfer button on the transfer page. -- When I got back messages saying to make t[email protected]?a moderator on Yahoogroups, I did that. -- Then, I went to the transfer page and clicked on the button Go ahead with transfer. So, I think all is in process now. Keeping fingers crossed that they will be able to bring all my Yahoo archives over to groups.io! Feeling so much more hopeful now! Thanks to all forum members and Groups.io staff for all your support and work on this! Leslie |
Re: Invite accepted!
That is good news for us here at GroupsIO.? I had alerted the folks here about their effort just a few days ago.? Seems the Archive Team either paused their work or Yahoo closed their ability to taxi the dickens out of their servers.
Yes, I like the idea AT is being proactive to retain/save the important data, but there needs to be a balance for us migrating away from YG too.? Should the AT find some of the LARGE groups on their warrior approach, they would really bring the YG servers to their needs.? My group alone has over 90K in messages hitting 195Mb alone.? And we are not even the largest AG tractor YG group.? John Deere YG is!? ? BMaverick ? |
