Re: Transfer Process for second group "Stuck"
Sounds to me that they joined a group, but not the one you meant it to be. Meaning check for typo on the yahoo group name you gave them. It might exist. -Ken Cameron, Member JMRI Dev Team www.jmri.org

Re: Transferring a Yahoo group without Moderator access
Also Groups.io cannot move a group without permission from the owner. Period. It has been said again and again here in GMF. And the question is: is that a policy decision, or technological. If

Re: Transferring Question - To Subgroups.
No, you have to tell the transfer agent where to put each group. Be careful - it is hard to untangle if you have them put into the wrong group. Everyone in a subgroup will be a member of the main

Re: Transferring a Yahoo group without Moderator access
First of all, it has been a hectic month for Groups.io. And the other day, Mark posted in Beta (and repeated here): I'm still only responding to support emails from premium group owners right now.

Re: Number of members doesn¡¯t match
That's a pretty big discrepancy. Here in GMF, the numbers are only off by 1; but they are still off. I wonder if it's related to the issue with the "Pending members" number getting out of whack (ref:

You can't use the Easy Transfer.? Support will tell you the same thing.? They've been snowed under with all the transfers and are now working on the backlog of questions, with premium groups having

Apparently there is an unstated limit of creating about 20 groups before you can't create more immediately.? We're not sure if there's a time delay before more can be created or if you need to

Transferring a Yahoo group without Moderator access
Has anyone ever gotten a response from "[email protected]"? We want to transfer a yahoo group to groups.io, but unfortunately the account of the group owner is lost, and apparently none of the

Re: Transferring Question - To Subgroups.
Remember, if you use the free groups, you can still have subgroups. The only advantage of having a premium membership for 1-2 months is being able to add old members more efficiently (although you'd

That might be a good use of subgroups. Please read the wiki page that I linked to and make the call. Manually is your only option. Support will not set up your groups for you or help you to make this

Eric, No, the main group is still the main group, albeit with a different name. All messages will stay there. When you're viewing message for a group (main or sub) you won't see any other group's
