Has anyone ever gotten a response from "
[email protected]"?
We want to transfer a yahoo group to groups.io, but unfortunately the
account of the group owner is lost, and apparently none of the moderator
accounts have the privilege of
"Add, remove, and change moderator privileges"
So we can't follow the instructions in the "how to transfer" document
I have a CSV of all the members, and I have a download of the message
archives from Yahoo that I'd like to install in the new account.
I sent a message to "
[email protected]" asking whether they can install
these without moderator access to the yahoo group. Crickets (no response
after several messages and several days).
I know I can add these members by hand with a one-month premium account;
and that there is a somewhat cumbersome way to install the archives. But
we are willing to pay for a premium account to have it "done right". So
I'm wondering: is there any point to waiting for a response from
[email protected] or should I just go ahead and do what I can myself. Do
they not want our money? Silence in response to support requests doesn't
inspire a lot of confidence in the organization, and makes me a little
nervous about moving over. Maybe I should be looking for a different
list provider?
