By the way Shal, this group was originally a move from Yahoo groups if that makes a difference, and there never was an M or NuM badge, I only have the P and a couple of B(ouce) badges.

That's the problem! The only thing checked under Spam Control is Restricted Membership. There is no checkmark in either Moderated or New Users Moderate, so I shouldn't be getting the emails to allow

Charlotte, On the Settings page (in the Admin group of links in the left column) scroll down to the Message Policies section. The control you want is "Reply To". From the drop-list select Sender.
