Choose 'no email' for main?
Can a member of a group decide they do not want any email from the main group but choose to get email from a subgroup? I wanted to use the "main" group as a discussion forum and a "announce"

There wasn't any activity from me?going in that one group?since I changed my email?address for all of my group IO groups.?I am the owner - no moderators - so the mail wasn't rejected by the group.

Frank, Unless you set your group to allow non-subscribers to post the first hurdle for spammer would be joining your group. The bulk spammers won't bother, in my experience it is pretty rare to find
