Re: time zone question
Duane, Glenn, Actually I think it should default to one's Account timezone. If I had the gumption I'd go check to see if it isn't. And maybe with a nearby link to your Account timezone, so you can

Re: time zone question
Patti, Don't fret about it - if they aren't using the group's web pages their Timezone setting doesn't really affect anything. No password required! On the Log In page choose "Email me a link to log

Michael, That is the default. Provided that you set it up in the Default Sub Settings tab of your group's Settings page /before/ those people joined your group - and if yours is the first group they

Re: attachments
Bruce good point. I set mine back so there will be a link and that is not bad. I don't want bouncing so I will tell my members about this. Thanks Anita

Re: attachments
Duane thanks. I can't do that since my members like to send stationary with incredimail. It has to be set to no limit for the default settings or the stationary comes in broken. Thanks Anita

Re: time zone question
I agree that there should be a default, but I don't agree that it should be PST.? It should be UTC, because being the default tz is what UTC was created for: to be the standard.? It is used as the

Re: time zone question
Michael, You (and each member) can set any time zone you like for viewing your calendar at the bottom right.? There has to be some sort of default if nothing is chosen, so PST is as good as any.? I

Re: photo albums
Duane: I had the same problem with extra large photos, and was advised that changing the Setting only affected to new ones and did not affect the old ones. I have not tried to verify that. Richard

Just understand that there's a tradeoff. Some mail servers will refuse to deliver emails over a certain size, so if you have subscribers that like to send huge emails you may begin to see more

Re: Not Receiving Pending Subscriber Notifications
That's correct. If you invite someone to a restricted group, they are never put into pending status. The logic is that if you didn't want them to join, you wouldn't be sending them an invitation.

Shal thanks. I found that and set it to no limit. This way it comes as a picture instead of a link. Many of my members had this also so I told them how to change it. Works great now. Anita

Re: Not Receiving Pending Subscriber Notifications
I also saw an issue along similar lines last week. I took a new member through the process of setting up a new account in Groups.io but no validation/activation email was received and not in spam etc.
