For some reason, when you change a members email-address, you change it for all groups that (s)he is a member of. I guess it would be better to subscribe the new address, and maybe unsubscribe the old

What is the reason she is locked out for?? I'm not aware of any mail provider that does not provide a way to login if a password is forgotten for example. Regards Andy

Yes, that's the issue! If she is already a mod to some group with the new address then she already has an account using that new address. You can't change address to one that already has it's own
