Whether you did or didn't do something with your groups.io account has no effect on that. This GMail problem was finally fixed about an hour ago (). If you could share what you've actually been sent with the rest of the group (screenshots, or maybe a forward of your bounce notice), perhaps we can help you with further troubleshooting. Re: Bouncing
Donna,
Why did I get a bounce message that listed a long list of groups I wasWhat Ken said: Bouncing status applies to your email address across all of your group subscriptions. The issue is first that only half of them are groups I belong to. TheThat shouldn't be the case. Could these be groups where you've set No Mail, but are still a member (and have forgotten)? and secondly I've been receiving messages from the groups I belong toThat I can't answer. I missed a bunch of today's traffic in GMF because my Gmail address was continuously bouncing them. Each unbounce I did was promptly followed by bouncing the next message. Is it possible you're using two or more email addresses for group subscriptions, and not all of them are Gmail? The footer of each message will tell you the address it was sent to (next to the Unsubscribe link). Donna,

When GIO detects a bounce, it stops sending to that address for all the
groups that the address is signed up for. The trigger condition may be all
from one group or it may be a series of messages from a number of groups
that put you over the threshold. It turns you off in all groups at once.
Just like 'unbouncing' puts you on for all of your groups at once. If you
happen to be in a number of very active groups, you have a higher chance of
tripping the bounce threshold.

Re: IP for groups.io for SPF record?
David,
Do I have to add "ip4:66.175.222.108"?Yes, those two are Groups.io's outbound mail servers, hosted at Linode. When I send an email to groups.io, I get a DKIM fail and SPF fail. II don't really know anything about configuring one's own mail server properly, but including Groups.io's outbound mail servers as allowed senders in your SPF policy is likely to be effective, if a bit crude. Assuming that what you're aiming for is a DMARC pass from the receiving email service. "Crude" in the sense that *any* message coming from those two servers can be authenticated as coming from you - not that I'd expect any fellow group members to spoof your From domain, except perhaps as a stunt. Your DKIM signature of course is hopeless, as Groups.io modifies both the message Subject field and body (appended footer) on the way through. But at least Groups.io strips yours and applies its own DKIM signature, for whatever that's worth to the receiver. For DMARC purposes it is a fail because groups.io doesn't align with your domain in the header From field. Groups.io also provides an Authentication-Results header to report on its own evaluation of your incoming DKIM and SPF results, and backs that up with an ARC signature so that any receiving email service can take Groups.io's word for your authentication, if they choose to trust Groups.io as an ARC sealer. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi, It had nothing to do with migration from Y! to Groups.IO, but rather, something going on from Gmail side. Re: bouncing around
I have been bouncing (and re-setting each time) constantly all day. Non-GroupsIO messages are coming through with no issue. I can't even approve messages in the group...I'll approve one, then my account is set back to bouncing, and I have to re-set it again before I can approve the next one.
?
Any ideas? I'm not a member/owner of that many groups, and only this one gets any significant traffic.
?
Thanks!
