Yes.

In fact there's a special plan for that: "Premium For One Month". It
automatically downgrades to Basic at the end of 30 days, as opposed to
"Premium Monthly" which automatically renews.

Click on Upgrade (or Billing if your group is already upgraded), in the
Admin pages, then blue View/Change Plan button to see the available plans.

Re: COX issues

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I use to have this problem. I phone called COX technical support about this issue a few times, and each time they seemed like they were trying to help me with this. They would have to pass this problem off to someone higher up in technical support, because this issue was beyond their abilities to resolve. Ultimately, they never did help me, but they said they did see where the problem was happening. I finally emailed Mark at support about everything I had done, and somehow he was able to resolve the problem.

I have COX users complaining there are long delays in receiving email from Groups.IO

I read this has been an issue in the past. I guess it was never resolved?

Anyone else still having issues with COX?

How can my subscribers create subgroups if they don¡¯t have an admin tab where subgroups are located? I see in settings that I have granted access to subscribers to create subgroups.

Re: AOL

Hi Anita,
?
I think your member will need to login to??since it appears something has triggered a security block on their account with AOL.
?
That should fix their problem by following the steps provided (if it is indeed a security stop) otherwise she'll need to contact AOL Member Services.
?
Hope that helps !

Chris thanks. No this member is a member of my group. This is what she got back when she tried to send a message. I have not heard from her so not sure if it is still happening. I told her to email me personally and the same thing happened. I think it has to be AOL or something.

Re: Charge to join?

Hi Paul,
I recently migrated a group over from Yahoo Groups, we just use the group for day to day communication between members of a mountaineering club so weren't worried about losing data. The process was quite straightforward to manually add everyone. We have lost a couple of members who I need to remind next time I see them.
Thanks

Hello Duane,

Thanks for your response. I attempted to explain that I would have to add the new member just for her to begin receiving messages. She is older and has difficulty believing that she can send email. If I can't add her, I will tell her that she has to get a family member or friend to send the subscription request.

Best Regards, Kenneth

In order for you to add the person directly, you have to have a paid group, Premium or Enterprise.

If the member won't need to use web access, all they need to do is send an email to the subscribe address for your group which can be found on the home page.? Even signing in isn't difficult: /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Logging-In

Hello All:

Commonly, subscribers are tech savvy, however at times you meet an
individual who has not caught on to computer use. Please assist me in
adding a member to my group that has difficulty subscribing to a group
after a number of attempts, although it isn't that difficult. She has
authorized me to simply add her to the group.

Kind Regards, Kenneth Semien, Sr.

No, it?has to be kept premium for the year.
?
You can get away from paying by setting up a group and inviting members to join it or take 1 month premium membership so you can direct add your members.
?
I don't know how you would get your messages or files sent over though.

No.? Because of the difficulties encountered and manual intervention needed for transfers, you're now required to pay for a full year of Premium.? If you don't want to pay anything, just start a new group and don't transfer.? It would be up to you to copy over anything you'd like to keep.

Re: Email delivery label #subscription #suggestion

Frances,

Perhaps All Messages as Individual Emails?

At one time it was simply "All Messages". The problem with that is that the member might not be receiving all messages, if he/she has selected Following Only in the Advanced Preferences.

I suppose you could propose to have the choice there conditional on the member's Message Selection choice. So perhaps "All Messages individually" if they've selected All Messages, and "Followed messages individually" if they've selected Following Only.

Note that the Message Selection options apply to Digests (and I think to Daily Summary) as well as Individual messages.
