For marketing emails, the general rule is that you need to opt-in instead of having to opt-out. Mailing lists and marketing emails should provide an easy way to unsubscribe, and Groups.io does that

No fix, just an observation or two - There is an "ico" group but that has only 2 members and has never had any traffic (created 2020 and public archive is still empty). Also the quoted error message
