I can open up the individual messages in the daily summary on my Mac fine without having to enter my password and email address. I have also checked my settings on my phone.
It sounds like a login problem with her phone.

The Daily Summary contains only links to new topics. Clicking those links should get you right in, if you're already logged in.

I have changed my settings so that my log info is saved however, a prompt still pops up and I still have to click in the email field and then click autofill, before I can access any individual messages in the summary list.
If you're not already logged in, this sounds like normal behavior.
My Safari browser Block All Cookies is toggled off as another possible cause listed in the things to check guidance.
The login is saved as a cookie. I'm not familiar with Safari, but disabling "block all cookies" may not be not sufficient. She may have to
enable cookies for the groups.io site, or at least quit deleting them every time she closes the browser. A third-party browser extension - or using incognito browsing modes - may also be at work here.

As Malcolm said, the most disconcerting thing is that the "ico" group
here in groups.io is totally inactive, so she wouldn't be receiving any daily summary. I cannot find any group named icogroup or icogroups. There is one at LinkedIn but I suspect that isn't it, either.

Lacking further information, this is the best I can do.?

Good luck,
