Not an answer for you within the Groups.io environment, sorry:? I exported the user list, used Excel to filter to the "no email" users, copied the email addresses, and using my own email client sent

Go to /g/eejh/activity after you log in to the site.? Look through the Activity log to see if your emails are even getting to the group.? If not, your email provider isn't sending

That's good. It suggests that you actually do have access and have not "lost control" of your group. Go to Admin>Activity and look for the incoming messages in the log. If it says something like
