Shal -- Recent testing on my end suggests that this is not so. Changes to the subject line will cause an emailed reply to initiate a new topic despite the presence of reply-to/references information.

Marina, Maybe. In most cases of email replies (and all cases of reply via the group's Messages section) the reply will contain header information that links it back to the message it is a reply to.

You may have to contact Mark at [email protected] and have him intervene. However, you can reasonably expect some resistance. People set up two-factor authorization because they want more security.
