Searching email addresses on the activity log has never worked. I've complained about this to Mark more than once. It brings up the whole log.

The problem may be the segments: The activity log search suffers from the defect of being a whole-word match. This is unlike the Members list, where searching on partial words match. I think this amounts to a bug in the Activity search.
