Actually, I forgot. You *can* mute a hashtag from the list, too. Go into Hashtags --->Muted and click on the plus sign where it says "mute a new hashtag."

You can mute a hashtag only from the bottom of an email message. (However, you can unmute a hashtag by going into your overall list of muted hashtags and unmuting it.)
