Okay, so looks like I'm going to try to move my two large Yahoo Groups over to Groups.IO.? Just tired on the non-functionality, and worsening issues.Have have two questions (so far):? Questions #1:? So, in order to move my Yahoo Groups to Groups.IO, I understand that first, I'm going to need to create a Groups.IO group to migrate my Yahoo Group over to?? And second question I have is, in the creation of my new Groups.IO, how to make the correct Privacy selection, on the "Create Group" screen.? So, not sure I'm actually understanding what the options are telling me, so it's hard to make the correct selection, as certain selections are non-reversible.? The choices are:
- Listed in directory, publicly viewable archives
- Not listed in directory, publicly viewable archives
- Listed in directory, private archives
- Not listed in directory, private archives
So, what I want is the group to be visible to folks looking to join, but I do not want our messages, files, photos, etc. to be visible publicly.? Only visible to approved list members.? So, I am thinking I would want to select #3.? My concern is, when I select that option, I get a pop up warning that states once this is selected, you cannot make archives public.? They stay private for the life of the list.? So, just wanting to make sure I'm understanding the definition of "archives".? I am taking that to mean my past messages, files, photos, databases, etc?? Am I correctly understanding this?? Thanks.? Hopefully, this will be a fairly seamless process.?
