That¡¯s already a feature, at least in my Legacy main group: Under ¡°Admin¡±, click on ¡°Subgroups¡± and you¡¯ll see the members¡¯ list with a column for subgroup. It will be checked for subgroup members.

Further, I see that that Admin > Subgroups does not provide any sort facility beyond 'name': neither by e-mail address, nor subgroup membership. Both I would suggest highly desirable, especially for larger groups.
