I pointed out the omission in Beta Group as suggested.
I must confess that I find it a bit difficult to manage Groups.io features. They are more complex that YG's ones. I wouldn't worry so much if weren't a group owner. But I know that at some point my members will turn to me for assistance in their own language.
For instance, I still haven't been able to figure out how to follow or mute topics and hashtags from the web.
At the bottom of each message in Digest there is a Mute this Topic link but not a Follow this Topic link.
In Groups.io Help, under the section Muting and Following, I read:
"In addition to the above subscription options, you have the option to mute individual discussion threads and hashtags. In the footer of each email is a link to mute the thread. And from the website, you can mute hashtags."
I find it a bit cryptic.
How do I mute hashtags from the website?
How do I follow specific topics or hashtags?
Under Subscription>Membership>Advanced Preferences I found a
Following Only option
"Only the messages in threads or hashtags you have chosen to follow are emailed to you, according to your Email Delivery Selection."
"Chosen to follow" means "that you have chosen not to mute"?
This is killing me.
