I think it is necessary to define what
exactly is meant by "non - profit". A hobby - based group is almost certainly going to be "non - profit", but its value is limited to the adherents of the hobby. OTOH a group might have wide - scale humanitarian aid as its ethos; in that case there is a clear (even if only potential) benefit well outside just those who are members of the group.
