Groups.io needs to know the image file type in order to render thumbnails properly. Assuming they actually are JPEGs, you need to add a jpg file extension to each one,?as Duane previously said.?At that point you should be able to upload them to the Photos area.

Why? Recognizing file type automatically without an providing an extension (or some other metadata) requires opening the file, which is a slow process. Although some OS's (iOS is one) will recognize file type without an extension, whatever groups.io is running on (probably Linux) is not one of them.?
